Anna Rodak – cello Zofia Dynak – piano The chamber music duo debuted in 2018 and have appeared in concert in many a Polish city ever since. Previously, the two musicians had played together in a variety of different ensembles and instrumental combinations. Performing in a piano quintet, they won an honourable mention at the Fifteenth Juliusz Zarębski International Music Competition in Łomianki and appeared in the concert cycles of ‘Oblicza Muzyki Europy’ (‘Various Faces of European Music’) in Wrocław in 2015, Liszt Evenings in Wrocław, Włoszakowice, Brzeg and Trzebnica in 2017 and the Nineteenth Roman Maciejewski Music Festival in Leszno. Together, they have taken part in premiere performances of works written by composers from the city of Wrocław. Anna Rodak and Zofia Dynak have perfected their chamber music skills during studies at the Academy of Music in Wrocław with Lidia Grzanka-Urbaniak and Alicja Faryniarz, and at master classes with Piotr Kajdasz and Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzykowska. Anna Rodak has graduated with distinction from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where she studied with Lidia Grzanka-Urbaniak. Zofia Dynak, a graduate of the same Wrocław-based academy where she studied with Zbigniew Faryniarz, is now pursuing her doctoral studies at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź in Cezary Sanecki’s class.
