Pianist and eminent teacher. She conducts master classes, seminars, workshops and lectures on the performance of piano music in a number of different countries: the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Denmark or Poland. She regularly sits on the juries of international piano competitions. Her former students include numerous concert pianists and winners of international competitions.
Vera Nosina is a professor of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and the Alfred Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music, and she is also president of the International Association ‘Musica Classica’ and vice-president of the Alexander Gretchaninov Foundation. The artist has brought out numerous scholarly publications, including forty articles and three monographs. She has written two books dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach: Symbolism in Bach's Music and Symbolism in Bach’s French Suites.
The pianist has appeared in concert halls with piano solos as well as with chamber recitals. She has also performed with orchestras, with which she toured Russia, the United States, Germany, Spain, Greece, Poland and the countries of the former Soviet Union.
In recognition of her artistic accomplishments, she has been awarded the Order for Merit to Culture.
