Sandra Haniszewska – violin Wojciech Sablik – violin Remigiusz Strzelczyk – viola Krzysztof Kubasik – cello The Moniuszko String Quartet is composed of principals and soloists from the orchestra of the Stanisław Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań: Sandra Haniszewska, Wojciech Sablik, Remigiusz Strzelczyk and Krzysztof Kubasik. The musicians have graduated from Polish and foreign academies of music, e.g. the Hochschule für Musik Weimar and the Conservatorium Maastricht. They have studied under the guidance of Jadwiga Kaliszewska, Boris Belkin, Robert Kabara, Tomasz Zawierucha, Bartosz Bryła, Robert Naściszewski, Lech Bałaban and Stanisław Pokorski. They have successfully performed at music competitions, as soloists and as chamber musicians, in Poland and on the international scene. They have also perfected their skills with such distinguished musicians as Maxim Vengerov, Zakhar Bron, Petru Munteanu, Paul Patterson, Phillippe Villa, Hans Wilhelm Kaufmann, Jaap ter Linden, Steven Dann, Avri Levitan, Jerzy Kosmala and Piotr Reichert. The Moniuszko String Quartet are currently working on their debut CD album. Founded earlier in 2019, they have embarked on a project of promoting music written by Polish composers, the main object of their activities.
