Anna Kulak – cello

The quartet was founded in 2012. Between 2017 and 2019, the artists completed their chamber music studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and perfected their skills with such renowned musicians as Eric Robberecht (from the orchestra of the Royal Opera La Monnaie in Brussels), members of the Pražák Quartet (Václav Remeš and Josef Kluson), Bart Bouckaert (from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels) and Viktor Kuznetsov (from the Academy of Music in Wrocław). One of the ensemble’s main achievements has been the First Prize they won at the International Chamber Music Competition in Italy.

Apart from a concert schedule, the quartet have taken part in a number of interesting projects, such as novel methods of sound recording in the performance of chamber ensembles conducted at London College of Music. As beneficiaries of a programme conducted by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, ‘Kultura Polska na Świecie’ (‘Polish Culture Around the World’), the artists have taken part in the Aurora Chamber Music Festival in Sweden. They have performed in Poland and abroad (e.g. in Belarus, Belgium, Sweden, Germany and Italy).
