He has received the First Prize at the last National Chopin Festival. He has completed piano studies with Lubowa Nawrocka at the School of Music in Tychy and he is now continuing his music education at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just. He has also perfected his skills at master classes led by excellent piano teachers, such as Dang Thai Son, Wojciech Świtała, Andrzej Jasiński, Janusz Olejniczak and Andrzej Tatarski. Krzyżowski has won a host of prizes at national and international competitions, including the Grand Prix Kaunas Sonorum in Kaunas, Lithuania, the Second Prize at the Karol Szymanowski Competition in Katowice, the First Prize and the Chopin Institute Special Prize at the International Piano Competition in Augustów, as well as the First Prize and a special prize for the best performance of a work by Apolinary Szeluto at the Szeluto Festival in Słupca. Until the previous year, the pianist had been financially supported via the President of the City of Tychy’s ‘Tysiąc Orłów’ (‘Thousand Eagles’) programme and he currently holds the scholarship awarded by the Marshal of Śląskie Voivodeship.

He has performed at such venues as the Royal Castle in Warsaw, Pszczyna Castle, Silesian, Rzeszów, Kaunas and Łódź philharmonic halls and the Concert Hall of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR) in Katowice. He has been accompanied by, among others, the Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy ‘Aukso’, the Symphony Orchestra of the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.
